Common questions

Before you book

The questions parents ask most. If yours isn't here, just send a note.

Do you offer in-home or online tutoring sessions?

Both. In the Williamson County area — Arrington, Brentwood, Franklin, Nolensville, and College Grove — sessions can be held in your home or at our studio. Online sessions work beautifully for children ages 5+ and are available for families anywhere.

How long are sessions and how often should we meet?

Sessions are 45–60 minutes depending on your child's age and program. Most families start with one session per week and add a second once we've found a rhythm. We'll figure out the right cadence together — it doesn't need to be decided before we start.

What does it cost?

Pricing is discussed during the consultation so it's grounded in what your child actually needs — not a generic rate for a service that may or may not fit. The consultation itself is always free. No surprises.

Do we need to be a Christian family?

Not at all. Faith shapes the heart behind the work — the patience, the care, the belief that every child has potential worth finding. But I serve families of all backgrounds, and we'll simply be honest about what your family is looking for and meet there.

How do I know which program is right for my child?

That's what the consultation is for — you don't need to figure that out before we talk. In most cases, one conversation makes the right program obvious. If we need more information, an academic assessment will give us the full picture we need to make a confident plan.

How quickly will we see progress?

Most parents notice a real shift in their child's confidence and attitude toward learning within the first 4–6 sessions. Measurable skill gains — fluency, decoding, comprehension — typically show up clearly within 8 sessions. We track progress consistently and give you honest written updates throughout, so you always know where your child is and where they're headed.
